Notification preferences
Decide where Webbee's notifications reach you — the in-app bell, Telegram, email — per app, all from one place.
When an app does something worth telling you about — a security alert fires, an automation finishes, a long-running job wraps up — Webbee sends you a notification. You decide where each of those lands: the in-app bell, Telegram, email, any mix, or nowhere at all. You set it once and it just follows those rules from then on.
The three places a notification can go
| Channel | Where it shows up |
|---|---|
| Bell | The bell icon in the panel — your in-app inbox. This is the default. |
| Telegram | A message from Webbee in Telegram. Only available once you've connected Telegram. |
| A plain email to the address on your account. |
Set it in the panel
Open Settings → Notifications. You'll see a simple grid: one row per source, one checkbox per channel.
- The main switch at the top turns app notifications on or off entirely.
- The Default row decides where notifications go for any app that doesn't have its own rule. Out of the box it's the bell only.
- A row per app lets you override any single app — for example, route one app to Telegram and email, but leave everything else on the bell.
- The System row covers platform notices that don't come from a specific app.
Tick the channels you want for each row. Leaving a row with nothing ticked mutes that app — you simply won't be notified from it. The little reset arrow next to a row you've customized puts it back to following the Default row.
The Telegram checkbox stays greyed out until you've linked Telegram — you can do it right there from the same screen. See Connect Telegram for the one-minute walkthrough.
Or just ask Webbee
Because it's the same Webbee everywhere, you can change any of this in plain words instead of hunting through settings — in the panel or from a connector:
"turn off email notifications"
"send security alerts to Telegram"
"mute the automations app"
Webbee makes the change and tells you what it did. You can always open Settings → Notifications afterwards to see the result.
What these preferences do not touch
Account and billing email — password resets, receipts, plan and renewal notices, security messages — are not affected by these preferences. Those always reach you by email, because they're about your account itself, not app activity.
Good to know
- Telegram needs a link first. If a notification is routed to Telegram but you haven't connected it, that channel is simply skipped — nothing is lost, and the others still deliver.
- Muting is safe. Turning everything off, or muting one app, never affects what those apps do — only whether they tell you about it.
- It's per person. Your notification preferences are yours; they don't change anything for anyone else.
